Ladies – if you think golf is not for you, think again!

An exciting new structured coaching programme is set to open up the game of golf to thousands more women in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The Lady Masters Golf (LMG) programme, set to be launched at Morley Hayes, aims to show ladies that golf is a game for everyone and not the elitist sport it is so often perceived to be, as PGA Professional coach James Whatley explains:

"Golf really is the game for everyone – women, men and children – and is the only sport I know of that can be played by the whole family for the whole of their life." says James. "There are still many misconceptions about golf that stop people taking up the sport, especially women, but thanks to the exciting new Lady Master Golf programme we intend to help more ladies see that golf's a whole new game and perhaps not at all what they might expect."

Lady Masters Golf is an innovative structured programme designed to help women quickly develop the golf skills, knowledge and understanding needed to enjoy the healthy and sociable lifestyle that golf provides. By organising coaching into weekly group sessions, where women learn in the company of other women, it will make golf more accessible while providing a step-by-step introduction to the sport:

"Golf can offer ladies so much more than other sports," says James. "It keeps you healthy, it's a great way to socialise, its great fun and it doesn't require the physical strength or speed that so many other sports demand."

He continued: "Furthermore, thanks to the exciting LMG programme, you don’t need to be a member of a golf club to join in and you don't even need to own a golf club to get started, so it makes getting started simplicity itself."

To find out more about the Lady Masters Golf programme at Morley Hayes, give James a call on 07841922399 or pop into the Driving Range at Morley Hayes where they will be more than happy to tell you how starting golf has never been easier.
