EMGA News
May 2010
Loads of new programmes underway at EMGA with great success, as we have new beginners courses, ladies programmes and corporate packages. We also have a new Golf Doctor clinic starting on Monday evenings at the academy and overseas tuition holidays up and running. As ever our junior sessions are extremely popular and there will be fun days for the kids throughout the Summer holidays. See the appropriate web page for further details.
A strong month for EMGA elite clients on their travels, Lee Clarke finishing 2nd at Europro Q School and following that up with a 2nd place at The Welsh Young Pros at Southern Downs. Ian Wally also got off to a good start with some solid local results at Breadsall Priory and then back to back pro am wins in the Midland Region. Kim Bradbury is seeing reward for her work with James this Winter winning the Derbyshire Ladies Championship and progressing to the Matchplay stages of the English Ladies Championship. Craig Young of Ashbourne has made good progress also reducing his handicap to +1 after a solid start to his season finishing 12th in the fairhaven trophy slipping from 2nd place with a dissappointing final round.
Our own Academy Director James Whatley is of course out there competing and getting off to a fairly solid start to the season (3rd on players tour) , to follow James this season check out his tour blog under our instructors section. Have a good month, see you at the Academy, Summer is on its way !!
