Welcome to the Education and Golf Programme for 16-19 Year Olds, run by James Whatley, a PGA Golf Professional and Head Professional at Morley Hayes and in conjunction with Derby College.

The 2 year programme based at Morley Hayes in Derby offers a unique blend of education and golf training, with a BTEC in Sports Coaching included in the curriculum. You'll learn from expert coaches in the UK, who will provide technical and short game coaching to help you elevate your game.

As part of the programme, you'll have the opportunity to attend experience days at Woodhall Spa for example, a world-renowned golf course and short game area, and a trip to the PGA Championship at Wentworth. These example experiences will not only be memorable but also invaluable in terms of the knowledge and exposure you'll gain.

We take a holistic approach to training and offer physical screening and 3D assessments to help you understand your body's strengths and areas of improvement. We believe that golf is not just a sport but a lifestyle, and our programme emphasizes the importance of nutrition, mental health, and fitness.

Our goal is to provide you with all the tools necessary to take your game to the highest level and prepare you for anything that life may throw at you. Our graduates have gone on to play golf at varying colleges in the UK and university level in America and many have even turned pro. Our programme is designed to prepare you for a successful career in the golf industry.
